Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring TCAR certification and a CO or compact RN license.

Job Details

• 16-bed mixed medical ICU treating trauma, neurosurgical, and medical patients,
• Adult and geriatric patient population,
• Remote and on-unit telemetry monitoring with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio,
• Epic EMR used,
• 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment,
• Weekend requirement of 6 shifts per 6-week schedule,
• Floating required to other RMR AdventHealth facilities in the region (Avista, Castle Rock, Littleton, Parker, Porter) as needed,
• May float to the Cardiac Stroke unit attached to ICU with a 3:1 ratio,
• Notified at least 2 hours prior to shift when floating outside of home site,
• No on-call requirement,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or Compact) required,
• BLS certification required,
• TCAR certification required prior to start date,
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required,
• Navy blue scrub color required,
• COVID-19 vaccination card or approved declination required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to a mixed ICU population including trauma, neurosurgical, and medical patients,
• Subject to AdventHealth's call-off policy, which may result in rescheduling to another weekend or holiday if a weekend or holiday shift is missed,
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as traveler rate,
• No radius rule in place,
• Returning permanent employees must be separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
