IT Administrator

Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Administrator to own and support global IT operations across multiple international offices, ensuring employees have secure, reliable access to the tools and systems they need to succeed. This individual will serve as the primary administrator for Microsoft 365, Entra ID, SharePoint, device management platforms, and identity/access management while driving IT best practices and process improvements. The ideal candidate has a strong background in systems administration, endpoint management, security compliance, and supporting distributed teams across multiple time zones. This is a highly visible, hands-on role that combines day-to-day technical support with strategic initiatives focused on scalability, automation, and global IT standardization. Candidates should have 10+ years of IT experience and a proven track record of building and improving IT infrastructure, processes, and security programs within a growing organization. This role is onsite in Portland 5x week and will pay around $110,000 annually.

Skills and Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or similar role

• Experience managing SaaS tools (Microsoft 365, etc.)

• Experience establishing and setting up the IT function at an organization

• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networks

• Experience with identity and access management (SSO, MFA)

• Experience supporting global or distributed teams across multiple offices in different time zones

• Strong communication skills with the ability to support both technical and nontechnical users

• Ability to take meetings and support users across different time zones including China and India
