Characteristics of a Successful Associate Financial Advisor Build meaningful relationships with clients, understanding legal & regulatory requirements for selling financial solutions. Critical thinking, problem solving, and sound judgment to provide tailored investment solutions, involving the FA when appropriate. Contributing to the branch business plan to increase branch effectiveness. Responsibilities Gather client information and assess suitability to understand their needs and priorities. Meet with clients regularly to track progress, uncover additional assets, and adjust strategies. Partner with attorneys, accountants, trust officers, and other professionals to understand client goals. Research portfolio performance, costs, and asset allocation, making recommendations to clients. Collaborate with the FA and branch team to align and adjust the branch business plan. Build relationships with organizations and businesses to maintain community presence and generate referrals. Coordinate with the FA to onboard new clients via face‑to‑face and virtual sourcing strategies. Continuously develop your skills and knowledge. Job Requirements High School Diploma/Equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Series 7 and Series 66 licenses required; registrations can be obtained during the assigned study period if not already registered. Minimum of 3‑5 years of relevant experience in the securities industry preferred. FINRA licenses required within three months; state insurance licenses required. Complete all ongoing training offered by the firm and regulatory authorities, and maintain license in good standing. Benefits Competitive compensation package.
