Hospital Transitions Coordinator The Hospital Transitions Coordinator will coordinate the centralized planning and execution of new hospital openings, relocations, consolidations, closures, and remodels by aligning field teams, Central Team Support (CTS), and MVH (Mars Veterinary Health) through standardized processes, accurate documentation, and proactive communication. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate cross‑functional logistics for new hospital openings, relocations, consolidations, closures, and remodels. Manage facilities, equipment and inventory readiness, including planning, ordering, installation, transfer and tracking of equipment, furniture, supplies and facilities work. Coordinate staffing plans across cross‑functional groups to meet front‑end and back‑end staffing needs during transition periods. Act as primary liaison between vendors, installation teams and internal partners to confirm scope, timelines, quality and resolution of open issues related to facilities, inventory, IT and equipment. Organize logistics, prepare resources and support leaders for training and orientation activities. Coordinate facilities‑related onboarding tasks such as access control, workspace readiness, badging, signage and safety requirements. Maintain accurate project documentation and records for audits, reporting and operational continuity. Gather feedback from field, hospital and cross‑functional partners to identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement. Provide timely, service‑oriented operational support, communicate risks and escalations, and partner with construction managers to ensure accurate timelines. Ensure compliance with all policies and standards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent is required; Associate’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field preferred. Three years of experience in administrative support, facilities coordination or onboarding. Proven stakeholder communication and customer service experience. Strong time‑management and organizational skills. Experience with event and onboarding coordination, records management, asset control administration, data entry, and process improvement is preferred. Knowledge of hospital safety procedures and experience in healthcare or veterinary settings preferred. Salary Range $31.00 – $42.63 per hour, depending on experience, skill level, abilities and education.
