HR Supervisor

Location 8407 Austin Tracy Rd,Fountain Run, KY, 42133,United States Employee Type Salary Exempt The HR Supervisor serves as a trusted partner to the business responsible for executing and overseeing HR day-to-day operations while providing direct supervision and guidance to the HR Clerk. This role works closely with the VP of HR and Operations leadership to support designated locations and ensure the consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. This position carries responsibility across employee relations, benefits administration, payroll administration, onboarding, policy implementation, employment law compliance, and SOX-related HR controls. Strategic & Operational HR Leadership Acts as an advisor to leaders and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment matters. Partners with the VP of HR in developing, implementing, and continuously improving HR programs, policies, and processes. Participates in the development of HR department goals, objectives, and systems aligned with business needs. Assists in evaluating HR program effectiveness and recommends enhancements to improve efficiency, compliance, and service delivery. Employee Relations Leads employee relations matters, including coaching leaders, conducting investigations, managing corrective action, and supporting conflict resolution. Conducts exit interviews and support sharing interview results. Benefits & Payroll Support Supports benefits administration, including employee inquiries, claims resolution, eligibility changes, and benefit communications. Processes bi-weekly payroll and prepares required payroll and HR reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations. Supports SOX and other audits by providing accurate data, documentation, and analysis. Participates in the creation, documentation, and validation of HR processes required for SOX compliance. HR Systems, Reporting & Administration Maintains HRIS records and ensures data integrity across systems. Compiles HR reports and analytics to support leadership decision-making. Oversight of company organization charts. Participates in department meetings, cross-functional meetings, and professional development seminars as required. Supervisory Responsibility Provides direct supervision, coaching, and performance oversight for the HR Clerk. Assigns and reviews HR administrative and transactional work to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. Supports development and cross-training of the HR Clerk to ensure continuity of HR operations. Communication Consultation Ethical Practice HR Expertise Relationship Management Leadership & Accountability Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Five to seven (5–7) years of progressive HR Generalist experience, preferably in a multi-state or regulated environment. Experience working in a publicly traded company environment. Experience supporting SOX compliance and audits. Preferred Education and Experience SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred. Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, manufacturing, or packaging industries preferred. Prior experience providing guidance or oversight to HR administrative staff preferred. This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The role may require lifting files, opening filing cabinets, and bending or standing as necessary. Position Type / Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on business needs. Travel Occasional travel (less than 10%) may be required.
