Fabrication Sales Assistant

The Fabrication Sales Assistant supports the Fabrication Account Manager with various administrative duties related to specific customer accounts. Summary of Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities Works collaboratively with internal and external customers to successfully drive the vision and mission of Kloeckner Metals Processes data entry related to shipping logs, PO's, pricing, and other information Complete Sales Order/Confirmation entries based on customer PO's Assist with entering orders and tracking raw material inventory and transfers from KMC facilities to OOP locations Input OOP production of fabricated components for accounts as directed Update daily reports and account management tools Assist Fabrication Account Managers with various duties as required Other duties as assigned Qualifications Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Works well in group problem solving situations Manages difficult or emotional customer and employee situations; Responds promptly to customer and departmental needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Demonstrates group presentation skills; Participates in meetings Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time; Supports organization's goals and values Uses time efficiently; Plans for additional resources; Successfully achieves goals and objectives Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style Strong commitment to high professional ethical standards in a diverse workplace Excels at operating in a fast pace, community environment High school diploma/equivalent or relevant experience preferred Ability to interpret business information, prepare correspondence, and communicate effectively Proficiency in basic business math, percentages, algebra, and geometry Intermediate proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, inventory and order-processing systems, and email.
