Electrical Maintenance Technician

Service Center Metals, located in Prince George, VA is a leader in the aluminum industry, and we are hiring for an experienced multi-crafted Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician who will report to the Maintenance Manager at our Prince George plant.


Candidate requirements:

• Must have at least 3-5 years of electrical troubleshooting and commercial electrical experience
• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical components such as motors, generators, and automation systems

• Repair, maintain, and upgrade electrical equipment

• Repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures

• Experience using test equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues
• Experience in Hydraulic systems, Electrical systems, Pneumatic systems, and Welding & Fabricating
• Work well in a team environment at a fast pace
• Be dependable and accountable
• Work a rotating schedule of 12-hour shifts/3 to 5 days-per-week, alternating every other weekend including overtime
• Lift up to 75 pounds or more on a regular basis
• Able to reach, stoop, bend, and be physical throughout a work shift
• Work effectively in very hot and cold temperatures
• Have excellent math and verbal skills
• High School Graduate or GED preferred
