What You'll Do
- Provide expert nursing care to emergency department patients in a fast-paced environment
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans using the nursing process
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical teams
- Administer medications and treatments following protocols and safety standards
- Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary
- Document all patient interactions accurately and professionally
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies
What You Need
Required:
- Current RN license in Louisiana
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
- Certification in a clinical specialty area
- Experience working in emergency or acute care environments
