Job Title: Assembler Job Description The Assembler fabricates, assembles, and packages high-quality stainless steel utility carts and related products, using hand and power tools to meet production and quality standards in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Fabricate stainless steel utility carts and related products according to specifications and production requirements. Assemble components using hand tools and power tools to create finished products that meet quality standards. Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to perform accurate mechanical assembly. Inspect parts and assemblies during and after production to ensure they meet quality and safety requirements. Package finished products securely and accurately for shipment or storage. Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safe and efficient production. Follow all manufacturing procedures, safety guidelines, and production schedules. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals. Essential Skills At least 1 year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience using hand tools for mechanical assembly tasks. Experience using power tools safely and effectively in a production setting. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and basic technical drawings. Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with mechanical assembly processes. Consistent work history and strong tenure within a manufacturing background. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Additional Skills & Qualifications Standard Assembler Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience. Experience in general labor or production roles within a manufacturing environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a production team. Work Environment This role is based in a manufacturing and production environment focused on stainless steel utility carts and related products. You will work on a 1st shift schedule from Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., providing a consistent daytime work routine with a four-day workweek. The position involves regular use of hand tools, power tools, and other standard assembly equipment at a production workstation or line. The environment is active and hands‑on, with an emphasis on safety, organization, and adherence to manufacturing procedures. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.34 - $20.34/hr.
