Hiring a Mill/Lathe Machinist in Brighton, MI!

Pay: Starting at $25.00, with room for growth, based on experience and shift assignment.

Shifts Available - Some Availability Changes Based on Lathe and Mill:

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

• 2nd Shift: 3:15 PM - 11:45 PM

• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM (or until 8:30 AM as needed)

Training is conducted on 1st shift for up to one month. Standard schedule is Monday through Friday, with overtime every other Saturday as required.

Responsibilties

• Operated and set up Haas CNC milling machines to perform drilling, milling, chamfering, tapping, and cutting operations on precision-machined components.

• Performed tool changes, offset adjustments, and minor CNC program edits to maintain production efficiency and part accuracy.

• Interpreted blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions to manufacture parts within specified tolerances.

• Utilized precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and depth gauges to inspect and verify dimensional accuracy.

• Maintained strict quality standards by performing in-process inspections and ensuring compliance with customer specifications.

• Troubleshot machining issues and made machine adjustments to minimize downtime and improve production performance.

• Conducted routine machine maintenance and maintained a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

• Consistently produced high-quality components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while meeting production deadlines.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $79040.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
