CNC Turning Machinist

CNC turning machinist position available in the Wixom, Michigan area working at our client location who is full-service machine shop offering CNC turning, milling and grinding services.

This is a potential contract to hire position with a pay rate of $30.00 an hour DOE. First shift opportunity with a schedule of 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. M-F. Potential OT on the weekends but not guaranteed, based on needs. Client company benefits available once hired in.

Duties for the CNC turning machinist:

• Operating Mazak machines
• Turning
• Program, editing at the machine, conversational
• Quality inspection
• Reading blueprints
• Quality checks
• Set-up
• Will work on specialized parts, prototype and small run production

CNC turning machinist requirements:

• Mazak experience, programming experience
• Machining knowledge
• 3-5 years' required
• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening
• Steel toe boots required
