Job Description

Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs for construction projects.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Train staff and contractors on safety procedures and protocols.
Investigate incidents and near-misses, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvement.
Collaborate with project managers to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks.
Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.
Promote a culture of safety among all team members and stakeholders.

A successful Construction Safety Manager should have:

Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
Experience in managing safety programs within the construction industry.
Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively train and guide teams.
Ability to identify potential risks and implement proactive safety measures.
Familiarity with incident investigation and reporting processes.
Commitment to fostering a culture of workplace safety and compliance.
