Financial Reporting Analyst

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $100,000 to $136,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in compiling and analyzing financial data to support reporting and decision-making.
• Contribute to the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, or STAT standards.
• Perform variance analysis on key financial accounts, including income statement and balance sheet items.
• Create and maintain reports for both recurring and ad hoc financial performance reviews.
• Conduct accounting research and present findings and conclusions to management.

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 3+ years of experience in financial reporting or accounting roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions for data analysis and reporting.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Solid understanding of financial reporting standards and accounting principles.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial trends and anomalies.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and producing accurate, timely reports.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in preparing documentation for audits or internal reviews.
