Make a significant difference in the lives of young learners as a Bilingual SLP supporting approximately 55 students from Kindergarten through third grade. This contract opportunity can accommodate both full-time and part-time availability, offering the chance to work closely with a diverse student population and contribute to a collaborative educational environment. Bilingual professionals, especially those fluent in Spanish, are highly valued for this important role, which also allows consideration for virtual (VOCO) service delivery.

Qualifications:

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Experience in school-based or pediatric healthcare settings
• Proficiency in Spanish for effective communication and bilingual evaluations
• Previous work with Kindergarten through third-grade students preferred
• Ability to interpret IEP meetings for grades K–5
• Strong collaboration and organizational skills
• Comfortable providing direct therapy in person or virtually

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to K–3 students
• Conduct bilingual evaluations to assess students’ communication needs
• Facilitate IEP meetings as an interpreter for students in grades K–5
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all services
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress
• Implement evidence-based interventions tailored to diverse learners
• Adapt therapy methods to virtual formats if providing services remotely
