Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Part Time Clearance Eligible in Goleta, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will help support a secure environment while collaborating with site personnel and fellow team members. Job Schedule:
DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense billing operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate security-related logs in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout office areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Report unusual conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
