In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced project managers, airport sponsors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver airside, landside, and aviation facility projects. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping practical, efficient solutions that align with operational goals, safety standards, and evolving industry requirements—giving you the chance to influence how critical infrastructure is designed, built, and sustained.Civil site engineers are encouraged to apply. We welcome candidates with backgrounds in land development, municipal engineering, transportation, roadway, and other civil infrastructure disciplines who are interested in applying their expertise to aviation projects. Previous aviation experience is preferred but not required.What You'll Do:Lead the technical execution of complex civil engineering projects from planning and design through construction, preparing engineering calculations, technical reports, plans, and specificationsDesign and oversee civil infrastructure projects including grading, drainage, utilities, roadways, pavements, and site development for aviation facilities such as airports, terminals, airfields, and support facilitiesServe as a technical leader, providing innovative engineering solutions while ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and client standardsLead multidisciplinary project teams, coordinating with planners, architects, engineers, and project managers to deliver high-quality infrastructure projects on schedule and within budgetMentor junior engineers by providing technical guidance, design reviews, and professional development supportSupport business development by preparing technical proposals, participating in client meetings, and delivering presentations to clients and regulatory agenciesWhat You Bring:Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required; Master’s degree preferredMinimum of 10 years progressive engineering experience in civil site design, land development, municipal infrastructure, transportation, aviation, or other horizontal infrastructure projects requiredProfessional Engineer (PE) license requiredStrong experience designing site grading, drainage, utilities, roadway, pavement, and other civil infrastructure systemsExperience with FAA standards preferredExpert knowledge of the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to apply best practicesProficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.)Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering lawsDemonstrated leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsParticipation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferredWhy You'll Love It Here:Take ownership of meaningful aviation projects that directly improve airport safety, efficiency, and long-term infrastructure performancePartner with a collaborative team of aviation professionals to deliver integrated airside, landside, and facility solutions across a diverse portfolio of airportsExpand your impact—mentor emerging engineers, share your expertise, and continue growing your own technical and leadership capabilitiesCurious about the impactful work our Aviation team is doing?
