Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT in Tucson, AZ. We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide home health services that help patients regain or maintain daily living skills while experiencing a new location.

Minimum Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy required.
Current, active Arizona Occupational Therapist license required to start the assignment.
Proof of current CPR certification required.
Current driver’s license, reliable transportation and personal auto insurance required for home health visits.
Minimum two years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in acute care or rehabilitation settings required.
Ability to perform clinical assessments, prepare and revise Plans of Care, document progress notes, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams as part of home health practice.
Ability to fabricate and maintain adaptive equipment and hand splints, and to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of OT equipment.
Ability to meet physical demands of the role including prolonged standing, walking, lifting, bending, pushing and pulling.
Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally for patient visits.
Preferred: Experience specifically in home health environments and/or skilled nursing transitions. Preferred: Additional certifications related to adaptive equipment or home safety assessment.
