Oncology Data Specialist

Description This is a remote role Abstracts newly diagnosed cancer cases, assists with case identification, and performs quality control procedures on data. Required Qualifications: College level curriculum in cancer data management or equivalent education/experience Upon hire: National Oncology Data Specialist - National Cancer Registrars Association Preferred Qualifications: Associate's degree Coursework/Training: Anatomy & Physiology coursework or completing courses Experience abstracting newly diagnosed cancer cases Experience working in an ACoS approved Cancer Registry Using Cancer Registry software, such as ONCOLog Why Join Providence Swedish? The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
