Job Description As a Security Officer Front Desk in Gahanna, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal at a professional front desk location supporting a utilities environment, where you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.37 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out front desk procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location. Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and communicating with site contacts regarding arrivals and departures. Answer phones, assist with inquiries, and support badge issuance, key control, and other front desk administrative duties related to security-related operations. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting relevant details. Observe lobby and reception activity and report unusual behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to help support security-related awareness at the location. Minimum Requirements Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
