Position Summary

The Beach Parking Attendant plays a key role in creating a positive first impression for guests arriving at our beach access points. While this role does not involve parking vehicles, the attendant is responsible for directing traffic into designated parking areas, verifying proper guest parking passes, and providing a warm, friendly welcome. This position helps ensure safe traffic flow, efficient access, and an exceptional guest experience from the moment guests arrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, welcoming, and professional demeanor
• Direct incoming and outgoing traffic to maintain safe and efficient flow into parking areas
• Verify valid parking passes and ensure parking policies are followed
• Provide clear directions and answer basic guest questions about beach access, amenities, and locations
• Monitor parking areas for safety, cleanliness, and order
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding traffic flow or guest concerns
• Uphold resort standards for guest service, appearance, and professionalism at all times

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Friendly, approachable, and guest-focused attitude
• Ability to remain calm and courteous in high-traffic or busy environments
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Basic understanding of safety procedures related to traffic flow (training provided)
• Prior guest service or hospitality experience preferred, but not required

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to work outdoors in sun, heat, wind, and other beach conditions
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
