A Top-Tier Biotech Leader is seeking a Biophysical Assay Research Associate to perform analytical method development and sample testing using RP and SEC HPLC. This high-impact role offers the opportunity to drive analytical characterization of adeno-associated viral (AAV) nanoparticles in a collaborative environment.

responsibilities:

• Conduct experiments and execute analytical methods (RP and SEC HPLC) to characterize AAV nanoparticles, proteins, and DNA for process and stability studies.
• Develop new analytical tools and transfer assays to QC, Process Development, and Research.
• Maintain accurate, timely laboratory notebook records in compliance with cGMP principles.
• Analyze complex laboratory data to draw conclusions, write technical reports, and make actionable recommendations.
• Regularly summarize and present experimental results during lab meetings.

 
qualifications:



Required

• Bachelor of Science degree with 1+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience.
• Proven hands-on experience with HPLC (RP/SEC) and other technologies for protein and DNA-based product development.
• Strong core knowledge of protein and DNA chemistry, characterization, and cGMP principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with strong technical writing and verbal skills.
• Collaborative team player with a self-starter mindset and passion for science.

Preferred

• Experience in analytical method development and assay transfer
• Experience in statistical analysis
