Associate Scientist

Job Title: Associate Scientist Location: Thousand Oaks, California (On-Site) Job Summary: We are seeking an Associate Scientist to support technical transfer and lifecycle management activities for commercial drug product fill-finish processes. Our team is looking for a candidate who can combine hands‑on laboratory work with clear, scientifically rigorous documentation to help move projects forward across development and manufacturing. Responsibilities Author, update, data-verify, and review technical transfer documents, protocols, reports, product impact assessments, and regulatory-support documentation. Compile, analyze, and interpret process development, characterization, validation, and manufacturing data to support technical transfer activities. Support laboratory studies and analytical testing, including formulation, mixing, filtration, sampling, pH, protein concentration, viscosity, and osmolality. Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Analytical Sciences, and Engineering to support transfer readiness, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management. Required Master degree, or Bachelor degree with 2 years of experience, or Associate degree with 6 years of experience, or high school diploma / GED with 8 years of experience. At least 3 years of drug product process development, manufacturing support, or technical transfer experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. Hands‑on laboratory and drug product process experience with a strong understanding of formulation, mixing, sterile filtration, filling, and end-to-end fill‑finish processes. Demonstrated ability to author, data-verify, and review technical protocols, reports, impact assessments, transfer documents, and regulatory-support documentation.
