Operations Manager

Operations Manager Operations Manager provides leadership and supervision to a highly efficient, multi‑station production department, managing inventory, replenishment, the production process, order intake, and ensuring timely and quality order completion and delivery. The role ensures continuous improvement, lean culture, and supports inventory, people, and processes. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Lead and direct the Fulfillment Operations Group to achieve key goals in order processing, delivery, quality assurance, inventory, purchasing, cost management, process layouts, improvements, and employee training. Collaborate with the Site Director on corporate strategic plans. Work with functional leaders to ensure compliance with company policy and procedures. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local ordinances, laws, and regulations. Promote a strong safety culture within the facility. Establish annual, monthly, and daily goals for productivity and quality levels. Run the fulfillment group cost‑effectively while driving continuous improvement. Manage, train, and develop facility managers and supervisors—including hiring, training, planning, assigning, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining associates, addressing complaints, and removing obstacles. Actively contribute to the development of direct reports. Responsible for client operations covering all shifts (second, weekend/donut shifts if applicable). Lead the Individual Performance Management program for the area. Oversee all quality assurance aspects, establishing metrics, applying best practices, and developing new tools and processes. Promote and develop a culture of continuous improvement within the value stream. Deliver productivity improvements in line with KPIs. Own lean process improvement and CI initiatives. Ensure all training and skills development programs and SOPs are current and maintained. Promote a culture of high accountability, engagement, and associate empowerment. Manage relationships with on‑site seasonal staffing representatives and advise the director of operations on seasonal labor needs. Manage budget for the value stream. Perform any other duties assigned by the Site Director. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required. Experience with process improvement methodologies such as LEAN or Six Sigma; Six Sigma certification preferred. Minimum of 4 years progressive operations management experience. Experience leading up to 100 associates. Experience driving productivity improvement through continuous improvement efforts. Flexibility, collaboration, and strong performance drive. Ability to analyze data to identify defects and root cause. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Compensation $100,000 – $120,000 per year #J-18808-Ljbffr Abacus Solution Group
