Repair And Maintenance TechnicianJoin Weatherford as a Repair and Maintenance Technician and play a vital role in maintaining our equipment and systems. This hands-on position involves inspecting, repairing, and maintaining field tools and equipment from receipt through refurbishment. You'll work with precision testing devices, follow technical manuals, and ensure all equipment is ready for deployment.Roles and ResponsibilitiesRepair and maintain equipment, systems, and structures using precision measuring instruments, testing devices, and specialized toolsPerform complete equipment lifecycle tasks: receiving, disassembly, cleaning, testing, visual inspection, assembly, and storage following established proceduresConduct testing and diagnostics using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electronic testing equipmentInspect components to determine changes in specifications using precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometersInitiate and complete work orders, forms, checklists, and documentation for all maintenance activitiesOperate material handling equipment including forklifts and overhead cranes (certification required)Process incoming and outgoing shipments with accurate documentation and inventory controlMaintain the highest standards of Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental protection in all activitiesComply with all company HSE policies, Management Systems, and "Rules to Live By"Ensure work areas, equipment, and facilities remain in safe, presentable conditionSupport LEAN initiatives and participate in continuous improvement programsMaintain service quality standards and actively seek improvement opportunitiesReport equipment failures and troubleshooting requirements to R&M ManagementMaintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholdersComplete all required function, compliance, and business standards trainingEngage regularly with management on performance objectives and career developmentDemonstrate ethical behavior and leadership aligned with Weatherford standardsSkills / EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent2-4+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industryBasic computer skills and proficiency with work order tracking systemsForklift and overhead crane certificationAbility to meet the physical demands of the roleMaintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and monitoring expertiseBasic mathematics and measurement skillsStrong reading comprehension and technical writing abilitiesCritical thinking, complex problem-solving, and active learning capabilitiesQuality control analysis to ensure products meet required standardsExcellent judgment and decision-making aligned with policies and proceduresTime management and task prioritization abilitiesSpatial reasoning to visualize system assembly, repair, and modificationsCompensation Range: $24-$30 per hourTravel Requirement: Less than 10%
