Plumbing Service Manager

This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily service operations, driving department performance, developing technicians, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee daily operations of the plumbing/HVAC service department Manage, coach, develop, and hold accountable plumbing technicians and support staff Oversee service warehouse operations including inventory management, purchasing, truck stock, and material control Partner with dispatch and customer service teams to maximize scheduling efficiency and revenue opportunities Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company operational standards Monitor fleet readiness, equipment availability, inventory levels, and technician efficiency Oversee departmental budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial performance Resolve escalated customer concerns quickly and professionally Work closely with leadership, sales, and marketing teams to help grow service demand and department profitability Implement technician training, coaching, and performance improvement plans Build and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships Ensure proper licensing compliance and operational standards are consistently maintained Required Qualifications Minimum 10 years of industry experience Strong understanding of residential plumbing service operations Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, safety standards, and industry best practices Experience managing service technicians and leading performance accountability Experience managing inventory, purchasing, warehouse operations, and fleet coordination Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills Valid driver's license Highly Preferred Journeymen Plumbing License Experience with performance-driven service organizations Experience leading high-volume plumbing service teams HVAC industry experience is a plus but not required Compensation & Benefits Company vehicle 401(k) with company match Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Supplemental insurance options Company-paid life insurance Paid time off Paid holidays Career advancement opportunities Benefits 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance Work Location: In person
