APP Hospitalist Opportunity

Centra Hematology Oncology is seeking an APP hospitalist to join the group at Lynchburg General Hospital. This new and exciting position offers the opportunity to work with a talented team of oncologists and nurse practitioners. The position is Monday - Friday 8am – 5:00pm.

Responsibilities

You Can Expect:

• Admits and discharge patients
• Consults and rounding
• Some management of chronic health conditions.
• Performing new hematology consults in coordination with the collaborative physician.
• Assistance in developing the new oncology care model to improve patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications

Required Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program, and Masters of Science Degree in Nursing (MSN) Required Certifications and Licensures: Current licensure by the Virginia State Board of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority. Maintains BLS and ACLS Certifications.
