SIGN ON BONUS - $3,000 - Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT)

Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is a clinician owned and operated home health agency providing services to the special needs community. Salary: $57,200 - $114,000 + $3,000 sign‑on bonus. Job Description An Occupational Therapist (OT) will implement treatment programs to assist pediatric patients with physical, cognitive, sensory, and social/emotional disabilities or delays by planning and administering occupational therapy in the home and community. Responsibilities Provide high quality care and meet the needs of the patient and family by performing evaluations and interpreting assessment results; develop goals appropriate for the child; create and implement occupational therapy treatment plans in conjunction with the physician. Assist pediatric and young adult patients in the areas of physical, neurological, cognitive, sensory, feeding, ADLs, and social/emotional development and improve their level of independence by implementing skilled interventions to maximize the potential of each individual child. Participate in educating, coaching, and empowering caregivers and families to develop skills to carry over therapeutic activities into the child's daily routine. Coordinate with referral partners to provide services for children in accordance with the physician order. Assure continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing and instructing patients, families, and caregivers in home exercise programs. Document patient care services and care coordination in an intuitive electronic medical record system. Maintain patient confidence by keeping information confidential.
