Mental Health Associate

Mental Health Associate – Full Time, Day Shift (Providence St Vincent Medical Center) The Associate-Mental Health (MHA) provides patient care under the direct supervision of the RN, with indirect supervision from a Mental Health Professional. The MHA delivers hospital-level care, supports patients with behavioral health conditions, manages the milieu, observes patient conditions, reports changes to the treatment team, and collaborates in developing treatment plans. The MHA is sensitive to patient needs and alerts care team leaders to any change in status on the inpatient psychiatric unit. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care under RN supervision. Support patients with the psychiatric treatment team. Manage patient milieu and observe changes in condition. Collaborate on treatment planning and report status updates. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Sciences, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field; or equivalent 3 years of experience in Residential Inpatient, Psych Outpatient, or Acute Settings. Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification. 3 years of relevant education or experience. Benefits Free and convenient parking.
