Assist occupational therapists in providing therapy services to patients to promote independence and improve their daily living skills. Support treatment plans and help execute therapeutic interventions under supervision. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with occupational therapists to implement treatment plans effectively.
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions.
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities.
- Set up and maintain therapy equipment and treatment environments.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and strategies.
- Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential.
- Proven experience assisting in occupational therapy settings.
- Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and patient care standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow treatment protocols.
