Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/29/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Qualifications Active RN license Degree from an accredited nursing program Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, AWHONN At least eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Labor and Delivery (L&D) setting Other requirements as determined by the client facility Duties & Responsibilities Labor and Delivery Nurses (RN), also called perinatal nurses, provide care and support for women before, during and after delivery of the baby. They are responsible for ensuring that the medical as well as the emotional needs of the patient are met throughout the entire birthing process.
