Job Details Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/29/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 hours Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Requirements Active RN license Degree from an accredited nursing program BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, AWHONN certifications At least 18 months of recent experience in an acute‑care Labor and Delivery setting Other requirements determined by the client facility Duties & Responsibilities Labor and Delivery nurses (RN) provide care and support for women before, during, and after delivery of the baby. They ensure that medical and emotional needs are met throughout the birthing process. Provide care to women and newborns during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages. Monitor vital signs of mother and baby during birth. Monitor patients for potential high‑risk problems. Educate and support mothers and families after giving birth.
