The pharmacy technician provides customer-focused services to members in the technical aspects of pharmaceutical care, under the direct supervision of the pharmacist and in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Overall individual responsibilities include supporting organizational and departmental policies and procedures, presenting a professional appearance, handling member and employee information with confidentiality, demonstrating principles of safety and infection control, and contributing to the effectiveness of the team.

Overall job responsibilities include cash handling, phone handling, transactions concerning members/medications, managing stock, supplies and work area, prescription processing and compounding, and data management.

Basic qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and a pharmacy technician license in Oregon. Additional requirements include speaking and reading English fluently, communicating effectively, providing customer-focused service, calculating math accurately, demonstrating reliable attendance, making a positive impact on team dynamics, and working effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
