Paralegal

Dinsmore is seeking a paralegal at our Pittsburgh, PA location to join the Tax, Benefits & Wealth Planning Department.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality billable work
• Extensive case management of estate and trust administration
• Meet and correspond with clients, beneficiaries, banking institutions, insurance companies, appraisers, and court personnel
• Draft probate pleadings and other necessary legal documents for estate administration
• Assist, verify, and value estate assets, coordinate asset transfer and distribution and settlement liabilities
• Prepare necessary tax returns, including fiduciary returns, and file with appropriate taxing authorities
• Participate in administration of guardianships and trusts, including preparation and filing of inventories and accountings
• File life insurance claims and other death benefit claims

Requirements

• At least three years of probate and tax experience
• Highly skilled, detail oriented, flexible, and have the ability to prioritize a busy workload
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are required
