Regional Director Of Operations
The Regional Director Of Operations is responsible for overseeing the operational and administrative functions of a designated region or area within the skilled nursing sector. This role involves strategic planning, financial management, regulatory compliance, staff leadership, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care across multiple facilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic planning to optimize operational efficiency and achieve organizational goals within the region.
- Overseeing budgeting, financial forecasting, and revenue management for each facility within the region. Monitoring financial performance and implementing cost-saving measures as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing skilled nursing facilities. Staying updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
- Maintaining high standards of care delivery and resident satisfaction across all facilities. Implementing quality improvement initiatives and monitoring outcomes.
- Providing leadership and guidance to facility administrators and staff within the region. Fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional development opportunities.
- Collaborating with other departments, including human resources, clinical services, and marketing, to support organizational objectives and enhance interdisciplinary teamwork.
- Identifying potential risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them. Ensuring compliance with risk management protocols and promoting a culture of safety.
- Evaluating facility performance metrics and developing action plans to address areas for improvement. Conducting regular site visits and performance reviews.
- Maintaining open communication channels with facility administrators, corporate leadership, and other stakeholders. Serving as a liaison between corporate headquarters and regional facilities.
- Building relationships with community stakeholders, referral sources, and regulatory agencies. Representing the organization at industry conferences and events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in healthcare management, with a focus on skilled nursing or long-term care.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards in the skilled nursing industry.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel within the region as needed.
- Current licensure or certification as required by state regulations.
