As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be a crucial member of our Engineering team, driving our mission to leverage data as a strategic asset. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, operations, and analytics, to build out the data infrastructure that powers our decision-making processes. Your work will directly impact how we develop products, optimize our operations, and deliver value to our customers. Core Objectives The role involves building and maintaining high-quality data solutions and large-scale data pipelines that process vast amounts of data Optimize data flow and collection for cross-functional teams Design core data objects and models for the entire company Implement and maintain data quality checks and monitoring systems Develop client-facing reporting solutions Additionally, the position supports data-driven decision-making through the creation of metrics datasets and dashboards Engineers will collaborate across teams to optimize and improve data quality while delivering user-centric experiences We're scaling fast, solving real client problems with precision and ambition. Requirements 4+ years of professional experience in data engineering Programming proficiency in python Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases Proven experience in data modeling and database design Experience with ETL design, implementation, and maintenance Knowledge of data warehousing solutions, particularly Snowflake Understanding of development workflows and best practices Professional skills Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent organizational and time management skills Adaptability to learn and work with new technologies Passion for maintaining high data quality standards Preferred Qualifications Experience with data quality management and monitoring tools Familiarity with AWS services Familiarity with data visualization techniques and tools Knowledge of machine learning pipelines and tools Experience with real-time data streaming platforms Familiarity with DBT, Airflow Mindset Entrepreneurial and ambitious; gritty, 'roll-up-your sleeves' attitude Hardworking Action-orientated with the ability to influence others Self-starter mentality, yet a team player with a collaborative approach Ego-free Direct and clear communicator Willingness to work in person at our office 4-5 days a week Why join Growth and impact. Job Compensation Range The salary range for this role is $240,000 - $300,000. EliseAI offers a competitive total rewards package which includes base salary, equity, and a comprehensive benefits & perks package. Exact compensation inclusive of salary and any bonuses is determined based on a number of factors including experience and skill level, location and qualifications which are assessed during the interview process.
