Senior Accountant, Consolidations | Fairfield County, CT

I'm working with a fast-growing, global organization that is looking to add a Senior Accountant to its corporate consolidations team. The company has a significant international footprint, continues to grow both organically and through acquisitions, and offers strong exposure to a complex, multi-entity accounting environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
• Prepare consolidation, elimination, and intercompany journal entries
• Handle accounting across multiple entities and currencies
• Assist with consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules
• Support accounting integration for newly acquired businesses
• Assist with interim and year-end audits
• Work extensively within ERP and consolidation systems
• Help improve and automate accounting and reporting processes

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong US GAAP knowledge
• Consolidations xhyhwjd and/or multi-entity accounting experience
• Experience within a mid-sized or large corporate accounting environment
• Strong ERP, consolidation system, and Excel skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional services, construction, or another multi-entity environment is a plus
• CPA preferred, but not required
