Network Administrator – BCBSWY IT Team As the Network Administrator with the BCBSWY IT Team, you will help maintain and enhance our enterprise network environment. You will manage core network infrastructure—including LAN, VPNs, firewalls, wireless systems, and Layer 2/Layer 3 configurations—ensuring systems remain secure, resilient, and aligned with business needs. Your work will directly support the stability and performance of our network, helping ensure that critical systems stay connected and protected. You will collaborate closely with internal network administrators, contribute to problem‑solving and process improvements, and serve as a backup resource for team members. You will also prepare weekly and special reports and work with host site support personnel to maintain remote applications. Responsibilities Maintain and enhance enterprise network environment. Manage core network infrastructure (LAN, VPNs, firewalls, wireless systems, Layer 2/Layer 3 configurations). Ensure systems remain secure, resilient, and aligned with business needs. Support network stability and performance. Collaborate with internal network administrators for problem‑solving and process improvements. Serve as backup resource for team members. Prepare weekly and special network reports. Work with host site support personnel to maintain remote applications. Qualifications Associate degree in information security, information technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Minimum 2 years of experience in networking, network administration, SASE, or related discipline. Proficiency with firewalls, VPNs, security policies, and vulnerability management. Strong analytical abilities to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues. Experience with Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Entra, Intune, Purview, Teams, and OneDrive strongly preferred.
