BIM Coordinator-Mission Critical Facilities

Your Opportunity The BIM Coordinator will assist in the transition from CAD to Revit toward true BIM deliverables. The role provides support and mentoring to BIM procedures, workflows and best practices for modeling, guides engineers with the implementation and application of BIM, and offers cross‑team support for BIM software. Your Key Responsibilities Set up projects for the team and ensure compliance with delivery and BIM standards throughout all projects. Collaborate with internal and external design teams and other departments to identify areas of improvement and communicate procedural changes. Perform model audits and checks ensuring compliance with the BIM Execution Plan. Ensure compliance with drafting and BIM standards throughout projects. Check models for consistency. Conduct BIM coordination meetings with internal teams and external project stakeholders. Make proposals for any model adjustments and consult with relevant team members. Identify and assist in creating, managing, and organizing Revit families and details to enhance content libraries. Actively participate and assist project teams with BIM project execution planning at kickoff and milestones. Provide final quality‑assurance checks of all projects, focusing on model quality and drawing graphics, in collaboration with discipline leads and TAs. Maintain good communication with engineers to ensure timely completion of jobs and proper documentation. Evangelize, educate and support primary BIM applications. Assist development and implementation of training programs for BIM applications. Document procedures, workflows and best practices for data post‑processing and modeling. Provide troubleshooting, assistance and mentoring for Revit users. Help pilot test new BIM applications and add‑ins. Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive, constructive attitude. Your Capabilities and Credentials Advanced proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and MS Office. Expert knowledge of BIM practices, standards, workflows and techniques including modeling, collaboration, standards‑checking and clash detection. Understanding of MEP basics processes and AEC industry standards. Experience with a BIM execution plan and providing a detailed modeling plan for each design phase. Clear understanding of a multidisciplinary design approach and delivering high‑quality projects. Ability to define problems, evaluate options and make appropriate recommendations. Coordination and management of BIM models. Effective organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Experience working independently and in a team‑oriented collaborative environment. Excellent analytical, problem‑resolution and troubleshooting skills. Strong organization and attention to detail. Sense of urgency, initiative and drive to complete tasks. Strong communication skills, confident interacting with clients, vendors and co‑workers. Positive, self‑motivated, can‑do attitude and strong work ethic. Leadership skills suitable for a project team member. Adaptability to new technology. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in an AEC related field (preferred). 5+ years of BIM production experience in Architecture/Engineering (required). Autodesk Revit Certified Professional (preferred). CSI Construction Document Technologist Certified (preferred). Pay Range Locations in CO, HI, IL, MD and various CA, NJ areas: $72,200 – $104,600 annually. Pay Transparency In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. Certain roles may be bonus eligible. Part‑time compensation is pro‑rated based on hours.
