Supply Coordinator

This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational continuity, optimizing fuel supply logistics, and driving competitive, market-aligned pricing strategies that directly impact company performance.

Responsibilities:

Supply & Logistics Coordination

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with terminals, suppliers, carriers, and customers to maintain uninterrupted supply and achieve a zero-runout objective
• Plan and execute fuel deliveries based on demand, inventory, and operational constraints
• Coordinate with carriers and operations to ensure safe, timely, and efficient product movement
• Communicate proactively with internal teams and vendors to manage orders and resolve delivery issues
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, product movements, and Bills of Lading (BOLs)
• Track usage trends and support supply forecasting and procurement activities
• Respond quickly to supply disruptions and make real-time decisions to maintain service levels

Pricing & Commercial Support

• Develop and manage daily customer and bulk fuel pricing based on rack markets, supply costs, freight, and competitive conditions
• Adjust pricing in real time to reflect market changes, supply constraints, and operational impacts
• Partner with Sales to align pricing strategies with customer needs, contracts, and margin targets
• Ensure pricing accuracy within systems and communicate updates to stakeholders
• Support pricing for new business opportunities, bids, and contract renewals

Optimization & Analysis

• Optimize supply points, routing, and delivery strategies to reduce cost per gallon
• Analyze delivery and pricing performance to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, service, and profitability

Education and Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fuel supply coordination or logistics within the petroleum or energy sector
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP or supply chain systems
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• Full-time, exempt position
• Evening and weekend work may be required based on business needs

Work Environment

• Remote or office-based, with site visits as needed
• Occasional travel to terminals, fuel depots, and vendor locations
• Availability outside normal working hours may be required to address supply emergencies
• Frequent collaboration with internal teams and external partners

Physical Demands

• Primarily office-based with frequent computer and telephone use
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
• Occasional travel requiring walking, climbing stairs, and exposure to outdoor conditions

Travel

• Not regularly required but may occur occasionally for site visits to terminals, depots, or customer locations
