About the Job Assistant/Associate/Full Professor - Classical Hematology The Division of Hematology, Oncology & Transplantation (HOT) at the University of Minnesota Medical School, in partnership with the Masonic Cancer Center (an NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center), is seeking a visionary faculty physician with expertise in non-malignant (benign) hematology. This position is available at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor on the Academic or Clinician Track (not tenure). Qualifications M.D. or equivalent; Board Eligible/Board Certified in Hematology Demonstrated excellence in clinical care of patients with benign hematologic disorders Strong teaching skills and enthusiasm for academic medicine Evidence of research productivity or interest in developing academic focus (clinical, translational, or basic science) Eligible for medical licensure and credentialing in Minnesota Candidates with specialized expertise in hemostasis/thrombosis, red cell disorders, hemoglobinopathies, gene therapy, TTP, complement disorders, rare diseases, or clinical trial development are strongly encouraged to apply Pay and Benefits Pay Range: This role is dually employed by the University of Minnesota and University of Minnesota Physicians. Total combined salary is anticipated to be in the range of $270,000-$465,407. Total salary is competitive with the market and based on AAMC salary benchmarks. Salary at the University of Minnesota is dependent upon academic effort of the person hired, and begins at $55,000. Clinical salary, aligned with clinical effort, is provided through University of Minnesota Physicians, and begins at $215,000.
