Job TitleAuto MechanicJob DescriptionThe Auto Mechanic position has a critical function in ensuring that the vehicles used by the company that are operated by EMS employees and that transport patients are safe to operate. The employees in this position are to perform the following:Maintain and repair all covered vehicles to manufacturer and/or regulatory standardsMaintain a log of all maintenance and repairsSubmit requests for any needed parts or supplies as it pertains to Fleet ManagementUse industry best practices to ensure the highest level of performance of dutiesSpeak and understand the English languageProperly operate the phone and/or other communications systems provided by the companyProperly operate the computer system and the software suites provided by the companySpeak to clients, customers and colleagues in a professional mannerPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsHS Diploma or GED Equivalent requiredMinimum one (1) year of experience in a general automotive service center (or equivalent)Must be able to safely lift, carry, and balance up to 150 pounds without assistance, and up to 300 pounds with assistance.Salary RangeUSD $23.36 - USD $34.98 /Hr.This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and position location.
