Pharmacy Hours and Location:

This pharmacy se rves the local community: MondayThursday : 8:00 AM 4:30 PM; Friday : 8:00 AM 3:00 PM; Saturday : 8:00 AM 12:00 PM
We are located at 2354 Civic Center Blvd Houma LA 70360

How Youll Make an Impact:

As a Pharmacist-In-Charge on the Specialty Pharmacy team at Omnicell youll work at the top of your license contribute to a communitys well-being and lead the pharmacy team. With autonomy youll drive efficient effective and continually improving pharmacy operations while being a part of a global organization dedicated to innovation in medication management.

Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services; advise and guide with empathy confidentiality and diligence
Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients
Business acumen and leadership; own pharmacy operations and embrace continual improvement learning and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy teams development
Stay informed of regulations retail pharmacy best practices and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune Oncology Hepatitis C HIV and more
Clinical oversight and industry innovation; committee member participation as Omnicell leads innovation in medication management and elevates the roles of the pharmacist in healthcare

What Youll Bring

Basic Qualifications:

Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
Successful completion of Louisiana state pharmacy board examination
Pharmacist license current and in good standing in Louisiana
Up-to-date on all continuing education requirements
Two (2) years of experience in the practice of pharmacy

Preferred Qualifications:

Two (2) years of experience in pharmacy management

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This position is moderately active and requires standing walking and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
Ability to see distinctions in colors and shapes
