Certified Nursing Assistant in Winchester, NH

A new opportunity is available for a skilled professional with a background as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA), or Medical Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a student within a life skills program. This contract role runs Monday through Friday, from 8:50 a.m. to 3:22 p.m., with an anticipated end date of June 2026.


In this role, you will play a key part in both academic and personal care support for a student in a middle school setting, ensuring a safe, dignified, and engaging learning environment.


Desired Qualifications:

• Active New Hampshire CNA or LNA certification required
• Medical Assistant experience also welcomed
• Previous experience in school, pediatric, special education, or care environments is highly desirable
• Ability to assist with toileting and positioning as part of a student's care plan
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable communication style
• Strong team player with a collaborative approach

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to a student in the life skills program
• Assist with academic tasks, lesson participation, and classroom activities
• Support the student's toileting and positioning needs according to their care plan
• Collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals, and the student's family to foster successful outcomes
• Promote the student's dignity, independence, and social participation
