Certified Nursing Assistant in Swanzey, NH

A skilled Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant is sought to support a middle school student one-on-one within a life skills program. This educationally focused role involves not only academic support but also direct care including assistance with toileting routines and positioning for student comfort and wellbeing.


Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:50 a.m. to 3:22 p.m.
• Position runs from now through June 2026

Qualifications:

• Current CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant), or Medical Assistant certification
• Experience providing care for children or adolescents, preferably in a school or educational environment
• Comfortable with personal care tasks including toileting and assistance with mobility/positioning
• Compassionate, patient, and able to provide respectful support for students with special needs
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators and therapists
• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve as a dedicated 1:1 support for a student in a life skills classroom
• Assist with academic lessons and facilitate access to educational activities
• Help implement an established toileting plan and assist with regular freshening
• Support safe and comfortable student positioning
• Partner with teachers and other staff members to meet the student's individualized needs
• Maintain accurate documentation as required
