Locum Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP)/PA

**Position Overview: Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP)**

**Coverage Duration:** Immediate start for a period of 3 months, with potential for extension.

**Work Environment:** Outpatient clinic setting.

**Schedule:** 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility to provide coverage on select Saturdays as needed. 

**Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver comprehensive family medicine care, including routine physicals, women's health services, and management of chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes.

- Address same-day/urgent care needs, including injuries and acute illnesses.

- Preference for candidates with experience in family medicine across all age groups; adult-only experience may be considered.

- Respond to communications via the KP Health Connect 'in-basket', including patient messages, managing results, and processing medication refills.

- Conduct telehealth and video consultations as required.

**Call Requirements:** There are no on-call duties.

**Patient Volume:** Anticipated caseload of approximately 20-22 patients per day.

**Team Structure:** Position supported by a full complement of staff, including RNs, MAs, and LVNs.

**Electronic Medical Records (EMR):** Proficiency in EPIC is mandatory, with recent (within the last 1-2 years) experience required.

**Credentialing Timeline:** Estimated to take 45-60 days from application submission, with plans to expedite the privileging process.

**Certifications Required:**

- Board Certification - BLS (AHA)

- DEA registration for both Oregon and Washington Candidates must possess an active Oregon license and be eligible to obtain a Washington license.
