CNC Programmer

Key Responsibilities
- The ideal candidate will have experience using GibbsCAM; however, training can be provided for the right individual with strong CNC programming experience.
- Program CNC mills and/or lathes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Develop CNC programs using GibbsCAM or other CAD/CAM software.
- Design custom tooling and fixtures.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and implement necessary program changes.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation of CNC programs and machine setups.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- Work closely with machinists to ensure successful production outcomes.
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software; GibbsCAM experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of machining geometry, GD&T, and precision tolerancing.
- Experience working in aerospace or other high-precision manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
