Project Coordinator

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Project Coordinator's duties include, but are not limited, support of functions related to construction management in the electrical construction industry. Must be able to interface with, and provide general project support to, senior project professionals. Company Overview Since 1912, Sturgeon Electric Company, Inc. Essential Functions Coordinate and oversee construction projects from initial planning through final completion. Prepare, review, and distribute project documentation including subcontract, billings, lien waivers, and change orders Collaborate with project teams to ensure project goals are met Maintain project files and ensure all records are accurate, up to date, and accessible Assist with obtaining necessary documentation, Certificates of Insurance, and compliance documentation Track and process incoming invoices; verify accuracy against contracts and purchase orders Generate and submit billing documents including progress billings and change order adjustments Provide administrative support such as document control and contract management Work with accounting teams to ensure timely vendor payments, resolve discrepancies, and maintain financial records

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications Minimum 1 -3 years of administrative support experience in the construction industry Associate degree preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Strong written and oral communication skills Detail-oriented Ability to think practically in order to solve office problems and interface effectively with senior project personnel Excellent computer skills including MS Word and Excel

Compensation & Benefits Salary Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith.
