Operations Manager - Dallas, TX

Job Details Job Location: Dallas ADC - Grand Prairie, TX 75050 Position Type: Full Time The Operations Manager is a key member of the leadership team responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations as it pertains to labor management, shipping and receiving, inventory management, quality assurance, and safety. Primary Duties Ensures the physical condition of warehouse and equipment are properly maintained Consults with others to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functional areas such as logistics and transportation Partners with the customer to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by communicating frequently with customers and following up on customer concerns and requests Ensures safe operation of the warehouse including meeting company standards for sanitation, maintenance, safety, and security Ensures operational excellence in all warehouse areas, related equipment, and warehouse management systems Leads an efficient and successful operation while successfully overcoming any barriers to success Implement and maintain proper layout of warehouse and product placement Monitors and ensures facility key performance indicators (KPI) are met in a timely and cost effective manner to ensure the profitability and productivity of the distribution center Ensures adequate staffing, training, coaching and development for employees Reports employees' hours worked to Payroll on a weekly basis Provides hands on management of the distribution center including interviewing, hiring, and training Supervisory and hourly staff; planning, assigning, and directing work; and appraising performance to create a strong company culture Addresses complaints and resolves problems Other duties as required and assigned Requirements Minimum 4 years of management/warehouse operations related experience. Excellent interpersonal, communication, coaching and facilitation skills. Demonstrated ability to train, supervise and motivate team members. Able to set high expectations and hold others accountable for results. Proficient in PC and related Microsoft Office Software.
