About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP Business Development Director to join its centralized Growth Hub, which is dedicated to driving growth for its agency creative brands in the US. The successful candidate will be a key leader in the Growth Hub, demonstrating proactive and entrepreneurial thinking in driving growth. This role is pivotal in the company's ambition to be the indispensable creative partner to its clients, delivering transformative work and seamless access to creative firepower. The VP Business Development Director will be responsible for autonomously leading pitch opportunities, managing agency efforts, and leading the strategy and process of pitches. The role requires an individual with an innate thirst for new business, exceptional storytelling and writing skills, and the ability to lead and convert large-scale pitches. The candidate should have a proven track record in new business, a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, and the gravitas to lead and mentor a team. To be successful in this role at the company, the VP Business Development Director must be a proactive individual with the ability to think ahead of the inbound, strategically drive pitch processes, and innovate for the best chance at conversion. The role demands a leader with the confidence to steer senior executives and a focus on fostering a productive, functional, and fun environment for the team. The ideal candidate will have a background in creative business development, with a strong emphasis on relationship-building, strategy, and operations.
