Staff Accountant

We are looking to immediately fill an open fulltime entry level accounting position. In this role, you would be responsible for assisting the Finance & Accounting department on a variety of tasks. We are seeking a dependable, highly motivated and organized team player to join our Accounting team. This is a dynamic role in a fast-paced company. The ideal candidate must be able to think critically, multitask while maintaining high attention to detail and have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn. In this role you will: Process daily receivables, payables, and other cross-functional accounting tasks Analyze and review accounts and reconciliations for over 300 divisions Prepare, review and post journal entries to the general ledger Ensure compliance with state regulatory requirements Provide customer service to our clients, customers, and stakeholders through phone and email Assist with collections process and safeguard company’s assets Assist with departmental administrative tasks as needed Work closely with other departments to achieve timely and accurate results Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: 0-2+ years accounting / bookkeeping experience Excellent oral and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Ability to multi-task while maintaining a high attention to detail Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn Accounting degree preferable This is a hybrid position, and your presence is required in the office every Wednesday.
